Ainslie is a very happy school with a strong sense of community that makes it a focal point within the surrounding suburbs. The involvement of parents and the community is highly valued and from its inception in 1927, has been one of the most distinctive aspects of the school.
At Ainslie we respect each child’s uniqueness. We value each child’s curiosity, creativity and preferred style of learning, and celebrate the diversity of our student population. Every student participates in a distinctive award winning music program which is a feature of our school. We have a reciprocal relationship with our sister school in Nara, Japan. A strong focus is placed upon teacher professional learning, teaming and strengthening of the home-school partnership. Our learning environment encourages students to take responsibility for their own learning and respect the rights of others around them. Student leadership is a focus of Ainslie School.
