Lyneham High's education program provides students with a wide range of experiences designed to prepare students to become active participates in our society as well as giving them the skills and knowledge to undertake further study. The School Board endorses the princple that students at Lyneham be afforded the maximum flexibility and choices in their educational program.
Lyneham High School was founded in 1959 and is a year 7-10 comprehensive high school.
In 2008 Lyneham High School had an enrolment of 992 students, including 21 Indigenous
students, 8 International Private Students (IPS), 161 Language Background Other than
English (LBOTE) students and an enrolment of 35 students with special needs.
