Blakehurst High School serves its community as a coeducational comprehensive high school with specialist languages status. Students at Blakehurst High School are drawn from the Primary feeder schools of Baldface, Blakehurst, Carlton South, Connells Point, Hurstville and Hurstville South. An increasing number of students seek enrolment from outside the local area drawn by the school's comprehensive and coeducational nature and by the very broad curriculum. Students of all abilities and backgrounds learn in an inclusive, harmonious learning environment.
