Windsor Park Public School opened in 1996 and is situated in South Windsor. Eleven mainstream classes are in operation as well as 2 supported classes catering for students with severe physical and intellectual disabilities and 1 supported class for multi- categorical students.
Students are drawn from Bligh Park and Windsor Downs. A mixture of private and public housing ensures a variety of backgrounds. School programs have been designed to cater to the diverse learning and behavioural needs of the students.
School staff are experienced at classroom, ancillary and executive levels. The staff has a balance of youth and experience.
The school is fully air conditioned and has ten home base classrooms with withdrawal / single teaching rooms and computers with internet access, a Library, Hall, Computer Lab as well as a Supported Classes Unit. An additional class is housed in our new building which also houses a community room.
The grounds are well-shaded by trees and include a Covered Outdoor Learning Area (COLA), a shade shelter with tables and chairs and an environmental reserve adjacent to the eastern side of the playground.
