There is a strong focus on literacy and numeracy while providing a rich and diverse range of other opportunities. Technology is an integral part of each day's learning, seamlessly supporting the teaching of the various aspects of the curriculum. Access to computers is ideal as all students have their own computers within the classroom for use as required. Interactive whiteboard and video conferencing technology is located in the classroom to provide valuable teaching resources and to maintain contact with other schools in NSW for a variety of purposes.
Our enthusiastic and engaged students benefit in many ways from being part of a Kindergarten to Year 6 classroom. Younger students have role-models in the class who show them the way. The older students develop an appreciation of their learning growth by sharing the classroom with the younger students. Small schools are known for effectively developing students' social responsibility and self-reliance.
