Sacred Heart Primary School is situated on Emery Avenue, in the suburb of Woodroffe, Palmerston. Palmerston is 29KM east of Darwin. It is the closest Catholic Primary School to Roberston Army Barracks. The school serves the areas of Palmerston and the Rural Area.
Currently Sacred Heart School has 12 classes with some multiage classes and straight age classes from Transition to Year 6.
Sacred Heart has an Early Learning Centre for 3-5 year olds and an Outside Hours Care programme for Before, After and Holiday Care.
In 2012 a Catholic Secondary School will be opening in the Palmerston area for Years 7-9 which Sacred Heart will feed into.
All efforts are made to build up and maintain a strong Parish/School link and to foster the idea of the school being a part of the Parish Family/Community.
