Cecil Plains State School ituated in the small country town of Cecil Plains, which is nestled on the banks of the Condamine River - "Where forest meets river meets plains".
Cecil Plains is about 83km west of Toowoomba, 43km south of Dalby and 46km north of Millmerran. The road to the west is now bitumened all the way to Moonie, about 97km away. Although Toowoomba is our closest regional city and Cecil Plains is part of the Toowoomba Regional Council, Dalby is the closest township servicing Cecil Plains.
