Morayfield State School is situated on Morayfield Road at the southern end of Morayfield. Morayfield State School is a co educational with an enrolment of over 500 students.
Our school motto is AIM HIGH and we certainly do so in all of our endeavours.
The main focus in our school in recent years has been to improve the children’s attitude to learning and to raise their levels of achievement.
A number of initiatives have been implemented. These include:
- Uninterrupted learning time
- Literacy and numeracy blocks
- Well attended parent workshops
- Highly successful intervention programs
- Promotion of the wearing of school uniform
- Acknowledging achievement through the presentation of certificates and awards
- Rewards for positive behaviour
Feedback from the community and the constantly increasing level of involvement in school initiatives and rising levels of student achievement indicate clearly that we have achieved success.
The key to our success has been a dedicated, caring and cohesive school staff working closely with families and the community to make our school a place where children enjoy coming to, to learn and play.
