St. Joseph's Catholic School Mount Isa is a vibrant, multicultural learning community with an enrolment of over 400 students. The School was first established in 1932 by the Sisters of St. Joseph's and it has grown to be one of Mount Isa's finest schools for academic, sporting, and cultural excellence.
The school is a two stream school providing specialist teaching in Music, Physical Education, Cultural Studies (Languages other than English), and literature and it boasts a state of the art library facility, and a modern, well equipped Prep unit and a recently completed Performing Arts Centre. All levels of student ability are catered for at St. Joseph's with the Student with Disability team and KIA (Kid's Intelligence Agency) program.
