Anglican School for girls from Kindergarten to Year 12 with boarding from Year 6. The Glennie Sub-Schools are, Junior Years – K to 6, Middle Years 7 to 9, Senior Years 10 to 12, and offer quality programs and excellent value.
With over 800 girls from Toowoomba, country Queensland, Northern New South Wales, the Northern Territory and overseas, Glennie’s vision is to develop in each girl the intellectual, physical and spiritual potential to be ‘all she can be’.
At Glennie we encourage balance between your daughter's academic career and her other interests and talents. Our excellent sports and performing arts programs allow your daughter to engage in group and individual activities that enrich her education experience and provide opportunities for her to become All She Can Be®. Most special interests and talents can be accommodated. One of our Glennie girls, now a commercial pilot, could fly a plane before she could drive.
The Christian faith is at the heart of the Glennie School's culture. Glennie is an Anglican school where the values of friendship, respect, consideration and understanding form the fabric of our daily lives. Girls are encouraged to become engaged in their community and volunteer their time and skills to enrich the lives of others less fortunate. Girls learn standard behaviour and conduct that they can draw upon to guide them through every aspect of their lives, now and in the future.
We are fortunate to have a vibrant community comprising many and varied professions and walks of life. Our Parents and Friend's Association and the Glennie School Foundation both provide many opportunities for parents to engage with others towards supporting improvements to their daughters' learning and living environment. As the guardian of our one hundred years of history and traditions, the Glennie Old Girls' Association is an integral part of our community through the Archives, connection with year groups at reunions and representation on School Council and Foundation Boards.
