Founded in 1846, Grammar is the oldest continuously operating Anglican co-educational day & boarding school in Australia and it has a distinguished reputation for providing outstanding education in Tasmania. Students respond to this rich heritage with pride. Striving for excellence is the foundation.
In line with the vision of our Founders, we welcome everyone regardless of faith tradition. We provide opportunities for our students and the school community to experience the riches of the Anglican religious tradition in an open and accepting atmosphere. In Chapel services and in the classroom we help students to reflect on spiritual issues and to become informed of religious concerns. We uphold and strive to live out the values of love for God and neighbour, compassion for those in need, and respect for each person.
