The purpose of
Peter Lalor Vocational College is to provide a nurturing and positive learning environment, which inspires confident and skilled life–long learners.
Our Vocational Education College equips students with skills, attributes and attitudes in readiness for successful transition to employment. Underpinning the vocational programs is a strong commitment of all involved to social well being and success built on personal effort and public responsibility.
We work closely with our local industry groups and have formed partnerships with employers that will enable our students to understand and experience appropriate life and workplace behaviours and conditions.
We expect our students to develop high standards of communicating with others, to be a valued team player, to respect the rights and property of others and to develop a strong and committed work ethic.
We value our student’s individuality and take pride in acknowledging and rewarding them for outstanding effort.
We look forward to the Peter Lalor Vocational College becoming the hub of applied learning in the Whittlesea community and providing young people of the area with meaningful, interesting and satisfying vocational pathways.
