Moriac is a rural community on the edge of the Otways, 25 kilometres southwest of Geelong and on the railway line to Warrnambool. The growing hinterland district adjoining the townships of Modewarre, Mount Moriac and Paraparap within the Surfcoast Shire, has a broad demographic profile. Our current enrolment of 214 students, live in homes located on township blocks, small low acreage farms and large rural holdings. Approximately 90 of our students travel to school by bus, utilising one of two available Moriac Primary School bus services. The student catchment reaches as broadly as Winchelsea South, Gherang, Gnarwarre, Paraparap and Freshwater Creek.
