The School of Agriculture and Food Sciences delivers teaching and research in areas of agriculture and agribusiness, food sciences, animals and plant sciences with an applied biotechnology and agricultural focus.
The School gives our graduates the power to contribute to finding solutions to world issues such as diminishing natural resources, climate change, biosecurity, poverty and feeding a growing population.
Close ties with industry and government ensure our students are valuable to future employers. Hands-on experience reinforces what students learn in the classroom, with all of our students undertaking relevant work experience to complete their programs. This also gives our students the opportunity to test out different career options and to build relationships and important career networks.
