Holland Park State School is a co-educational school of 735 students from Prep to Year Seven. Striving for Excellence is our motto and central to our ethos.
The school achieves significant outcomes academically, culturally and in sporting pursuits. Our mission statement focuses us on the need to achieve the best educational outcomes for each child in our care, knowing that they are growing up in an increasingly global and networked international community.
A new Resource Centre with a fully equipped computer lab commenced operation in 2003. The school has a 25 metre swimming pool, originally constructed in 1951 and remodelled in 1999, which now provides a high standard facility used by both students and the local community. There is also a purpose-built music room, incorporating an instrumental music practice room. Other facilities include an Outdoor Theatre, shaded play area, two tennis courts, adventure playgrounds, a basketball shooting area, cricket practice nets and two large ovals, one with a cricket pitch.
