Established by the Sisters of Charity in 1881, Bethlehem College has a rich and proud tradition of educating young women. The Sisters administered the College for 110 years and their values and commitment are the foundations of College life today.
Our College motto "Este Fideles - 'be faithful' - is lived and put into practice every day as we strive to be faithful to God, to ourselves and to each other.
Within the Catholic tradition, Bethlehem aims to develop confident young women within positive self images, courageous, independent and enquiring minds, with a genuine concern for others. Bethlehem is committed to the development of young women who value themselves, who are concerned about significant issues in our world as they relate to justice, peace and the environment and who
value prayer and the reality of God in their lives.
