Girraween High School is a modern, coeducational high school with an enrolment of about 750 students. Our school is a selective high school and Year Seven entry is administered by the Selective Schools Unit of the Department of Education and Training. Selection to fill vacancies in Years 8 to 12 is determined by the school.

We attract students from many different suburbs. The school is serviced by buses from Baulkham Hills, Castle Hill, Crestwood, Kings Langley, Seven Hills, Blacktown, Pendle Hill and Wentworthville and is close to Pendle Hill railway station. Increasing numbers of students are coming from the Fairfield, Parramatta, Auburn, Lidcombe, Homebush, the inner western and south western suburbs, making use of the excellent train service.students per year; in the senior years the entry of a few additional students is permitted.
