Marian Catholic College is a Catholic 7 - 12, co-educational school, situated in Griffith NSW. The College is a member of the Wagga Wagga Diocesan Catholic School System. It is called "Marian" in honour of Mary, the Mother of God, patron of both the Mercy Sisters and the Marist Brothers, who founded the College in 1970.
Marian Catholic College is rich with cultural diversity. We boast that our community has students and teachers from 22 different lands. The College celebrates these differences with Harmony Day, which is held on 21st March each year. Students and teachers share the food, dance, language, art and traditions of their countries.
The College has a varied and unique history being moulded by the leadership of both the Marist Brothers and the Sisters of Mercy as they followed the example and teachings of Jesus. The first lay Principal was appointed in 2007. In recent years the College has experienced major expansion and change.
The College has over 600 students attended by 60 dedicated and highly professional staff . Each person is encouraged to achieve their personal best and offer their gifts for the benefit of others.
