Aquinas College recognises each student is unique and develops pathways to suit each individual. Years 8 and 9 students are provided pathways via a number of elective and core subject options. During the transition year in Year 10, a six month Careers Program is undertaken to assist students in making decisions about their future. Senior students can choose to study academic subjects and gain an OP or undertake a Vocational Education Pathway.
Aquinas College is a caring community. Pastoral Care embodies the spirit that underpins the everyday relationships at Aquinas. The staff seek to affirm and support students through measures such as the Pastoral Care Program, retreats and liturgies, student leadership, middle schooling, awards, code of conduct and the House system.
Aquinas College is a spiritual college that draws deeply on Gospel values, and the spirit of service and mercy as established by Edmund Rice and Catherine McAuley.
