St Brigid's Catholic Primary School exists to provide year K-7 students a Christ-centred environment that:
* gives witness to the ethos of the Catholic faith
* encourages growth of the total person
* enables participation as positive, contributing members of the community.
St Brigid's seeks to provide students with the necessary skills to meet the challenges of the 21st Century with faith and hope. Our curriculum is carefully designed to cater for a diversity of interests, and combines academic pursuit with the spiritual, social and physical growth of the students. Students are engaged in an ongoing programme of personal development, which nurtures a belief in God and in themselves. The children are encouraged to develop independence of thought and to become responsible for their own learning.
Our focus is on the individual and active pastoral care. This care is at the heart of all aspects of the curriculum and is exercised by all members of the staff. In an environment of faith, love and support, our students are encouraged to become self-confident individuals who have developed life skills that best prepare them to be proactive members of society.
