Nestled in a quiet residential area, enjoying sweeping ocean views, Kapinara Primary School takes its name from a combination of two Aboriginal words, 'Kap' meaning 'water' and 'inara' meaning 'over there'.
Kapinara offers education programs from Kindergarten to Year 7 all on one site. In addition to general classrooms, we enjoy specialist library, art, music and computer facilities, with the added bonus of two sports ovals overlooking the Indian Ocean. Additional programs are offered for gifted and talented students in science, maths, art and music, with identified students in Year 5 – 7 able to participate in extension classes through PEAC (Primary Extension and Challenge). Students who require additional support are provided with individualised and specifically designed programs.
