WPATA provides three levels of accredited training:
A short introductory TA 101 course which is awarded Certificate 1
A 3-4 year Transactional Analysis psychotherapy training (Level 1) for which successful completion awards an accredited Advanced Diploma.
A five year Teaching and Supervising training program (Level 2), completion of which awards and accredited Advanced Diploma.
WPATA members come from a variety of backgrounds such as Psychology, General Practice of medicine, Social Work, Nursing, Teaching, Science.
