Woody Point Special School is a State, co-educational school located at 85 Georgina Street, Woody Point. Originally opened in 1979 the school caters to a wide range of students with disabilities that require individualized learning programs.
Our school is unique in that located at Woody Point is an Early Childhood Development Program (ECDP). The ECDP provides early childhood education programs to children aged from birth to six years, (including students of prep age) suspected of or diagnosed with impairments in the areas of physical, cognitive, hearing or vision impairments, autistic spectrum disorders, speech language impairment or multiple disabilities. Our ECDP is the largest in the state.
Our current enrolment is 52 students which brings our whole campus enrolment to approximately 140 students.
