Australian College of Nursing, Australia (ACN) is the leading professional organisation representing all nursing practice areas throughout Australia. A not-for-profit professional organisation, ACN provides continuing professional development for nurses and speaks out on health issues that affect nurses and the community. With representation on Government committees and health advisory bodies nationally and internationally, ACN is recognised as a key centre of influence in the health policy arena in Australia. ACN is the Australian member of the International Council of Nurses. Members participate through Chapters in each State and Territory and National Nursing Networks - for specific areas of interest.
