Living and learning in a sustainable environment is a growing priority for the members of our school community. At the same time our school embraces the use of technology to add value to the learning taking place.
We also acknowledge that a child will not learn until they feel safe and are able to trust in the people who care for them. For this reason we have a no tolerance stance to bullying. The students are taught to recognize bullying and are given strategies for dealing with bullying. The students also receive lessons that build their social and emotional intelligence so that they are able to bounce back from life’s ups and downs.
The educational opportunities at St Joseph’s take into account the ‘whole child’ so that they are able to be the best they can be.
