The Division of Biological Engineering, established in January 2007, aims to facilitate interdisciplinary research initiatives across the biomedical and biological sciences. Exciting progress is currently being made globally at the intersection between these two fields, particularly where scientists work in parallel with engineers towards a common focus.
The Division draws on advanced infrastructure, internationally renowned education and training resources and a long track-record in industry engagement to improve and innovate the biotechnologies of life.
