Point Pearce Aboriginal School has a genuine cooperative partnership between the school and the extended community of Point Pearce, a small Aboriginal community close to Maitland on the Yorke Peninsula. Our school has a safe, caring and challenging working environment with a focus on celebrating success.
We build on the existing pride in Aboriginal culture and heritage and actively promote the Narungga culture. The school caters for children from birth to 8 years of age. Services offered include: playgroup, occasional care, learning together, kindergarten and a Reception to Year two class.
The school is well-resourced and all learning areas are air-conditioned. Point Pearce operates within a cooperative decision-making process that allows for inclusiveness of all staff. The school prides itself on representing the community in a positive manner and supporting parents and students in their life journey.
