Rural Health West’s Education Steering Committee, established in 2009, to assist with the development of a more strategic focus to education and continuing professional development (CPD) provides clinical governance on the content and program curricula for a range of education events.
Committee members represent a number of organisations and disciplines that also have a focus on rural and remote GP education; including The Rural Clinical School of Western Australia (RCS); Royal Australian College of General Practitioners (RACGP); Western Australian General Practice Education and Training Ltd (WAPGET); Emergency Medicine; Western Australian General Practice Network; and the Australian College of Rural and Remote Medicine (ACRRM).
