The Centre aims to build on the significant advances made nationally and in New South Wales in collecting, analysing and understanding information on Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples. It aims to explore data development needs and issues that will contribute to the advancement and wellbeing of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people, encourage best practice in data definition, collection and storage, undertake data set development, collection and analysis and build capacity in the sector.
