Welcome to
Lockrose State School, in the heart of the Lockyer Valley. The school is in a picturesque setting off the Warrego Highway, halfway between Ipswich and Toowoomba. Lockrose has new facilities nearby and is readily assessable to other areas in South East Queensland.
We are a small two teacher school with approximately fifty students. We cater for boys and girls in Prep to Year Seven, teaching the full eight key learning areas as mandated by Education Queensland.
The school had its centenary in 2005. The school, for its size, is spacious with all classrooms air-conditioned and attractive.
