Burnie High School is one of two Department of Education high schools in Burnie providing for the junior secondary needs of the wider Burnie community.
Burnie High School began as the Intermediate High School in Burnie on 26th January 1916. Since that time, our students and teachers have built a fine reputation of cultural, academic and sporting achievement.
