Island Health College prides itself on delivering excellence in natural therapy training.
Our wonderful team of trainers and assessors gives above and beyond what is required in class. Our trainers and assessors are practising professionals, which allows them to pass on daily experiences to the students.
Whether students are wishing to invest in a career as a natural health practitioner or wanting to study for their own interest and growth, the College provides a range of courses to suit individual needs. Flexibility in the timetable of the course structure enables students to plan their study to suit their lifestyles. The College maintains small class sizes to allow for good interaction, and there is a strong focus on maintaining a warm and friendly approach to study.
Apart from the focus of providing quality training, the aim of the College is to promote awareness and understanding of natural therapies within the community, and our facility is often used for workshops and seminars by local and interstate practitioners. Our facilities are also available for hire by students and practitioners as a base for their practice.
On completion of a nationally recognised qualification students are eligible to apply for membership of professional associations. Full membership of appropriate associations entitles students to a health fund provider number, which enable clients to receive health rebates.
