The College of Humanities and Social Sciences (CHASS) is one of three academic divisions of The University of Sydney, and is composed of six faculties.This makes it the largest and most significant grouping within the humanities and social sciences in Australia.
The College actively promotes interdisciplinarity within its teaching and research programs, and supports many centres and institutes which engage with the community in important social, economic, cultural and political issues.
