The Indigenous Student Support Officer assists indigenous students studying either on campus or through other Institute programs. Assistance is available to manage issues such as career counselling and managing study programs. The International Student Support Officer is dedicated to providing Wide Bay Institute of TAFE international students with outstanding services such as orientation to Wide Bay Institute of TAFE and local community, homestay accommodation arrangements, apartment/flat, accommodation arrangements, visa and passport assistance, social activities. Skills recognition helps people who do not have formal qualifications or trade certification, and those people who have overseas qualifications, to gain recognition for their skills.
