Heany Park Primary School was established in 1993 and is proud of the exceptional educational program it provides for children in the local Rowville community. The school enrolment is over 600 with 29 classes and has stabilised in recent years after a decade of rapid growth. Students are generally grouped in straight classes, with four or five classes at each grade level, and grade sizes are kept to a minimum. The student population reflects a diversity of nationalities, which provides a breadth of cultural experience and acceptance of others.
Heany Park Primary School has a strong reputation in the local community for providing a very caring and supportive environment for students and families. Program Achieve (You Can Do It) allows students to develop behavioural skills in Getting Along, Persistence, Organisation, Confidence and Resilience. All staff share a commitment to the well-defined and articulated values of: respect, integrity, teamwork and life long learning.
