St. George School for Specific Purposes specialises in the provision of educational services for students with high support needs. Specifically, the school caters for children whose primary disability is physical . All students have intellectual disability as a secondary problem and many have visual and auditory impairments and medical problems. Our school prides itself in being at the cutting edge of special educational provision for students with severe and multiple disabilities. The school aims to develop Individualised Educational Programs which are tailor-made to meet the individual needs of each student. In maximising the potential of each student the school places special emphasis on the development of students' physical and communication skills. Our school continues to investigate and trial better ways of delivering educational services and maintains prominence in the use of 'best practice' in Special Education.
