Mowbray Public School is a small school with an involved and committed staff supported by an active and informed parent community.

The school's Multicultural network, established as a parent initiative to involve the school with the community in making multiculturalism a way of life was awarded both the Community award and the Grand Award by the Community Relations Commission. The school increases awareness of and celebrates the rich diversity of cultures within and beyond the school community.
