Kolan South State School is located approximately 25 km from the regional centre of Bundaberg. Kolan South State School has a rich history, commencing in 1878, and today caters for prep to year 7. The school mission is to ‘be thorough in pursuit of a quality education’ with the key school values of respect, responsibility and safety. Curriculum offerings incorporate the key learning areas of english, maths, SOSE, science, the arts, health and physical education, and technology. Students in year 6 and 7 also study Japanese. Kolan South has a strong focus on numeracy and literacy, science, ICTs, sports and physical education, and music. Our core curriculum programs are enriched by a diverse range of curricular and extra-curricular programs.
