Elsternwick Primary School, established in 1888, has a long history of serving and educating the surrounding community.
We believe that students learn best in a supportive learning environment that caters for all students' needs by building on the knowledge and skills that each student already possesses. Teachers facilitate each child's learning by providing a challenging curriculum, personalised to the needs of each child.
As a part of our philosophy we follow an Inquiry Learning approach, which supports our strong programs in Mathematics and English.
Elsternwick Primary School also has supporting programs in the performing arts, visual arts, music, physical education and foreign language (Mandarin).
