St Michael’s School is a single stream co-educational parish school with an enrolment of approximately 240 students from Kindy to Yr 6. The school was established in 1914 by the sisters of Mercy. St Michael’s is a multicultural community, consisting of children from many ethnic backgrounds. An integral part of the school is the Special Education Centre, which provides for the specific needs of a variety of students.
The school community works together to provide pastoral care for each person and to nurture the whole development of the child. The School Board and the Parents and Friends Association have a strong commitment to develop and provide resources to meet the needs of all students.
