Beulah Primary School (Beulah PS) is located on the Henty Highway approximately 370 kilometres north-west of Melbourne. The buildings are well-maintained and set in attractive, neatly kept grounds. The local area is predominantly a dry-land cropping and grazing area. After many years of drought, 2011 saw some recovery with the change in weather pattern, however the previous years have impacted on the community which is reflected in declining school enrolments. Farming families comprise over half the school population, with families in the town, through employment or lifestyle, providing the remainder of students.
The school is a significant community hub and much valued by past students and parents. Beulah PS is part of the Southern Mallee Lakes (SML) Cluster of primary and secondary schools which work together regularly to provide a wider base for students, staff and families.
