This annual report encompasses the achievements against previous goals for students and staff at Wallumbilla State School. The
report represents a broad perspective of achievement and development in curriculum, teaching and learning for the 2011 school year.During 2011 the Wallumbilla State School had a focus on the development of the reading performance of students. Data collection
strategies were put into place and these helped to determine the instructional needs of students. This work will continue with the
development of a specific Wallumbilla reading program.
The Wallumbilla school also had a focus on being ready for the implementation of the Australian Curriculum and the C2C units
developed by Department of Education, Training and Employment. Teachers engaged in professional development activities to help
meet this goal.
