The Arawang Primary School community was born with the amalgamation of Fisher and Waramanga Primary Schools in the late 1980s.
In 2008, we welcomed the students from closing schools in the areas – especially Weston Creek Primary and Rivett Primary. Our philosophy is ‘many voices, one tune’.
Our school is a caring community school which provides:
* a secure and nurturing environment where children can develop self-esteem, confidence and self-discipline, as well as tolerance and respect for others
* high quality educational programs that allow all children to develop their individual skills and talents
* students and parents with equitable access to all school programs and services
* a strong partnership between home and school that enhances learning opportunities and outcomes for students
* a supportive and trusting environment where communication between all members of the school community is open, sensitive and readily accessible.
