Woodstock Public School is situated in a rural area of New South Wales. Woodstock is a small village, population approximately 300, located 25 kilometres north-west of Cowra. A large proportion of the students live in and around the village. The school receives strong support from the local community and community involvement in school activities is a feature.
The students and community members value their community. Our school motto is "In knowledge we grow" and the community see that they are a vital part in contributing to the children's overall education.
The parents and community members are very supportive of all requests by the school committees which include time, money and work commitments. The students have represented their school at a number of community events, take great pride in their efforts and have proven to be excellent ambassadors for the school.
Woodstock Public School provides a sound foundation for continued learning and recognises the importance of involving the community in the school's events and programs. Our school enjoys a balanced program integrating academic work, cultural activities and sport.
