Located on the foothills of Mount Panorama ('Waluu' - Wiradjuri name for the Mount Panorama area), Bathurst South Public School celebrated its 125th Anniversary in 2004. While proud to have educated successive generations of local families, Bathurst South Public School has embraced learning in the twenty first century. Every classroom is equipped with an interactive whiteboard and internet-compatible computers. Additionally, students regularly access a specialised Computer Laboratory. Classes have the ability to connect to classrooms throughout the world via video-conferencing facilities. Bathurst South Public School provides Welfare, Literacy and Numeracy Programs designed to nurture all learners. These programs are complemented by opportunities for every child to experience success in a wide variety of sporting and creative co-curricular pursuits.
