Ajuga School provides an integration program for students from Kindergarten to Year 12 who have a severe emotional disturbance.
The school can cater for up to 49 students. Currently there are four primary and three high school classes in operation. Primary classes are organised according to Stage groups while high school classes have parallel groupings.
Each class has a teacher and a learning support officer. The main focus of the Ajuga program is to provide intensive support to successfully return students to school or to facilitate their participation in further education or employment.
Our aim is to provide students with a secure and caring environment in which they can develop educationally and emotionally. To support this aim we provide a range of services including individual educational and behavioural programs and the opportunity for high school students to study specific subjects through Distance Education.
