Established in May 1856 and one of the oldest schools still on its original site, Paddington Public School celebrated its 150th birthday in May 2006.
Situated on busy Oxford St the school is only a walk from Centennial Park, a facility well utilised by the school for sport and environmental activities.
The school grounds have also been used for more than 30 years by the Paddington Markets.
