At Peakhurst West Public School we encourage parents and community members to take an active role in their children's learning and development. Many parents and grandparents regularly give up their time as volunteers to enhance learning programs for our students.
There are many ways that parents and carers can participate in various programs and events within the school:
Parent volunteers can assist in the classroom with reading, writing, presentations on areas of special expertise.
Parents also support dance, music and sporting pursuits, debating and major school events such as the school concert and other celebrations.
