Sutton Forest School is a small school which caters for students from Kindergarten to Year 6. There is a teaching principal and two classroom teachers. The school is located in a rural area of the Southern Highlands of NSW. A majority of the students travel to and from the school by bus. With small class sizes and diverse needs, students are provided with a highly personalised environment for learning. Sutton Forest School seeks to provide effective learning and teaching within a secure, well managed environment in partnership with parents and interested members of the wider community. Interaction with other students, teachers and members of the community is encouraged and supported at all stages of learning. Opportunities to mix with other school communities are provided through attendance at cultural performances with other schools and participation in sporting days, inter school debating and the annual small schools camp for senior students.
