The Batchelor Outdoor Education Unit (BOEU) is located close to the centre of Batchelor, approximately 100 km south of Darwin.
The town of Batchelor has a population of approximately 600 and has an Area School, Health Centre, Police Station, Service Station, Shop, Post Office and numerous sporting facilities including a swimming pool.
Batchelor is the gateway to many areas of interest - Litchfield Park, Adelaide River War Memorial and historical World War 2 sites. It also has several mine sites in close proximity.
